📌 Note: The information on different careers in UX is quite fragmented, which reflects the industry-wide alignment on how different companies name their job titles. After seeing how it works on the hiring side, I noticed that quite often a job title had been created a long time ago and due to bureaucratic processes hiring managers are very reluctant to update them.
Also, there is a lack of alignment on the definition of a "Product designer". In addition, many (less mature) companies use the "Product designer" title as a fancier version of the good old "UX/UI designer". So, the job titles are messy and I recommend paying more attention to the particular job responsibilities/requirements.
